VII ALAIC Seminar on Communication, Culture and Contemporary Challenges

The Universidad Metropolitana (UMET) and the Latin American Association of Communication Researchers (ALAIC) in collaboration with the Puerto Rican Association of Academic Communication Programs (APPAC), invite researchers, scholars, professionals and those interested in communication and media research to the VIII Research Seminar of the Latin American Association of Communication Researchers (ALAIC).

Contemporaneity is understood as a critical space that allows us to think reflectively and actively about the role of communication and mass media within the temporal thickness of the multiple territories of contemporary culture.

It is also the space where we question communication and culture with all the possibilities and complexities of senses, experiences and meanings that make up the diverse framework of societies, their projects, configurations and horizons.
